Confirming that there will be choir this Monday night even though its a long weekend….all the more reason to sing I reckon!
Amendment to 2013 Return Date
Well, just when we thought we were all organised and set to go, Te Tira decided to reconvene earlier in 2013 than originally planned.
Our new start date is January 14, 2013. Nice to know everyone is keen and will miss the opportunity to sing over the Christmas break.

New Members
Over the past couple of weeks we have welcomed 5 new members to the Te Tira fold. It’s exciting to see new faces and hear new voices.
Whatever your level of experience – or inexperience for that matter, if there is a song in your heart, why not give it a voice and join a choir!
End of Year and Return Dates Set
Te Tira will finish on December 10 with a celebration at a private residence. We will return for another year of music making on Monday, February 4, 2013. See you there!
Rehearsal Times Change
After a discussion about end of year celebrations, 2013 return dates and general conversation about how the year has gone, we decided to trial a shorter rehearsal time till the end of the year.
We will commence at 7:30pm sharp as usual and finish at 9:30pm instead of 10pm.
Peer Sing 2012
170 voices joined in song at this years Peer Sing, an annual event show casing a number of Brisbane community choirs. A wonderful afternoon. Each choir performed for their peers and then on mass to end the event. Well done everyone!
